Irrigation Repair and Installation in Ocoee

A sprinkler system that waters the sidewalk, misses the corners or runs during a downpour is costing you money and stressing your yard. We find what's wrong, fix it and set your system up to water the right areas at the right times.

Water Where Your Yard Needs It, and Nowhere Else

Most sprinkler systems we look at aren't broken so much as out of tune. Heads get knocked crooked by mowers, nozzles clog with sand, and controllers keep running a summer schedule into December. The lawn shows it with brown stripes next to soggy spots, and the water bill shows it every month.

We handle irrigation repair, system tune-ups, controller programming and new zone installation for your home. The goal is simple: even coverage with less water. That usually means lower bills, and if your system runs off a well, a pump that cycles less often and draws less power.

Good watering also protects the plants that keep your home cooler. Shade trees and foundation shrubs that get steady, deep water hold up through the hot months instead of thinning out.

The Sprinkler Work We Handle

  1. 01

    Full system check

We turn on each zone one at a time and watch it as it waters. Broken heads, weak pressure, spray landing on concrete and dry corners all get noted, and we show you what turned up.

  2. 02

    Head and nozzle repair

We replace cracked or stuck heads, raise sunken ones to grade and match nozzles so each zone puts down water at an even rate. Mixed nozzles on one zone are one of the most common reasons a lawn waters unevenly.

  3. 03

    Leak and valve repair

A cracked lateral line leaks every time its zone runs, and a valve that won't close may keep seeping between cycles. We dig carefully, repair the line or valve, and backfill so the area looks the way it did.

  4. 04

    Controller and rain sensor setup

We program run times by zone and season and stay within local watering-day rules. We also check that your rain sensor actually shuts the system off when it storms.

  5. 05

    New zones and system changes

New beds, fresh sod or a changed layout often need their own zone. Drip lines in planting beds put water at the roots and lose far less to evaporation than spray heads.

Signs Your Sprinkler System Needs Attention

  • Brown patches beside green ones

Uneven color usually points to a coverage problem, not a lawn problem. A tilted head or a mismatched nozzle is often the cause.

  • A water bill that keeps climbing

If your bill jumps and your habits haven't changed, a hidden leak or a stuck valve is a likely suspect.

  • Puddles, soggy spots or geysers

Standing water near a head or a spray shooting straight up means a broken head or line. Leaving it invites fungus and wastes water every cycle.

  • Water hitting the driveway or walls

Overspray onto pavement is money running into the street. Spray against your home's walls can also stain siding and keep the foundation area wet.

  • Sprinklers running in the rain

Our summer storms should give your system a day off. If it runs anyway, the rain sensor is missing, disconnected or worn out.

How an Irrigation Visit Works

  1. 1

    Your call and walkthrough

You call, and we set a time to come out for a free on-site walkthrough. We run the system with you and talk through what you've been noticing.

  2. 2

    A clear written estimate

You get a line-item estimate that separates must-fix repairs from optional upgrades. If a repair makes more sense than a new system, we'll tell you so.

  3. 3

    Repair or install day

We flag the heads and lines before digging, keep trenches narrow and set any cut sod aside to replace. Most repairs wrap up in one visit.

  4. 4

    Test, program and clean up

We run every zone again to confirm coverage, set the controller schedule and show you how to adjust it. Then we clean up the work area before we leave.

What Affects the Cost of Irrigation Work

Irrigation pricing depends on what we find once the system is running, so we give you a firm number after the walkthrough, not over a guess. Swapping a couple of heads is a small job, while chasing a buried leak or adding a zone takes more time and parts. For a bigger installation, we offer financing up to $100,000 on 2–12-year terms, with no prepayment penalties.

How big the system is
Each zone has its own valve, wire run and set of heads. A yard split into eight zones simply takes longer to test and repair than one split into three.
What's actually wrong
A cracked head is a quick swap. Tracing a leak under the driveway or a broken wire between the controller and a valve box can take a good part of the day.
Drip conversions
Switching a bed from spray to drip means new tubing, emitters and a pressure regulator. The upfront work is more, but the bed uses noticeably less water afterward.
Getting to the pipe
Lines running under pavers, through thick shrub roots or beside mature trees need careful hand digging, and the surface has to be put back the way we found it.
Your controller
If the controller you have works well, we simply reprogram it with no new equipment. A weather-aware model is extra hardware, though it skips cycles your yard doesn't need.

Irrigation Questions We Hear Often

How often should my sprinklers run?

It depends on your grass, sun exposure and the season, and local watering-day limits apply. In general, fewer and deeper waterings early in the morning work better than short daily runs. We set the schedule zone by zone during our visit and explain how to shift it when the weather changes.

Can you fix my system, or do I need a new one?

Most systems can be repaired. We replace a system only when the pipe is failing in many places or the layout simply can't cover the yard. Your estimate will show both options if both make sense.

Will fixing my sprinklers really lower my water bill?

Often, yes. Stopping leaks, ending overspray and cutting run times to what the lawn actually needs all reduce water use. How much you save depends on how far off the system was to begin with.

Will you tear up my lawn?

We keep digging to a minimum, cut sod in clean pieces and set it back when the repair is done. You may see a faint line for a short while, but the grass knits back in.

Do you install irrigation for new sod or beds?

Yes. If you're adding new turf through our sod installation service or new plantings through landscape design, we can plan the zones at the same time so everything is watered correctly from day one.
