Landscaping in Ocoee That Helps Your Home Stay Cooler

We handle lawn care, landscape design, irrigation, sod, hardscapes and tree work for homeowners in Ocoee, Winter Garden and Windermere. Every plan looks at where your home takes the afternoon sun and where water is being wasted, so the yard you enjoy also eases the load on your AC and your water bill.

Why Homeowners Call Us

Good landscaping should make your home easier to live in, not just nicer to look at. Here is how we work on every job.

We plan for shade and airflow
Before we suggest a tree or a bed, we look at which walls and windows bake in the afternoon. A shade tree placed on the west side, or a planting bed that keeps sun off the AC pad's surroundings, can make rooms more comfortable. We will tell you plainly when a change is mostly about looks, too.
Irrigation that waters plants, not sidewalks
Many systems we inspect have broken heads, overspray onto driveways and zones running far longer than the plants need. We fix those first, set run times to the season and explain the controller so you are not paying for water that runs into the street.
Written estimates you can read
You get a line-item estimate that shows labor, materials, disposal and any extras separately. If we find something unexpected during the job, like roots under a planned patio, we show you a photo and talk it through before any cost changes.
Respect for your property
We lay down boards over soft lawn where equipment rolls, keep debris off your driveway and blow off walks before we leave. Your yard should look better the day we finish, not torn up.
An honest answer on what to keep
Not every tired lawn needs new sod and not every leaning tree needs to come down. If a repair, a trim or a change in watering will solve it, that is what we recommend.

Landscaping Services for Your Home

We are a family-owned company, fully insured and in business since 2018, and we do the outdoor work most homes need over a year. That covers weekly lawn care, mulch and beds, sod installation, irrigation, landscape design and hardscape installation, plus tree trimming and removal, palm tree pruning, stump grinding and bamboo removal. When a yard has gotten away from you, our seasonal cleanup and property cleanup crews bring it back to a clean starting point.

  • Two landscapers on a residential street, one trimming hedges along stucco homes and the other using a leaf blower to clear clippings from the sidewalk under oak trees

    Lawn Care

Regular mowing, edging, feeding and weed control matched to your grass type, so the lawn stays thick and needs less water to look good.

  • Two landscapers kneeling to plant shrubs along new stone-edged beds beside a curved paver walkway leading to a stucco home's arched front entry

    Landscape Design

A drawn plan that puts shade, plants and beds where they keep your home cooler and your watering simpler, before you spend anything on installation.

  • Freshly mulched foundation bed along a stucco house with crotons, ti plants and small shrubs, edged with tan pavers beside a green lawn and sidewalk

    Mulch and Beds

Clean edges, pulled weeds and fresh mulch or pine straw laid at the right depth, so your beds hold water longer and look finished.

  • Worker's hand turning the dial on a gray irrigation controller mounted on a stucco house wall beside a pine straw bed, shrubs and lawn

    Irrigation

We repair, tune and install sprinkler systems so each zone gets the water it needs, with no more dry patches and no more paying for water that runs down the street.

  • Landscaper with a backpack blower clears leaves off a front walkway while a coworker rakes the lawn beside a row of paper yard waste bags in a Florida neighborhood

    Seasonal Cleanup

Leaf drop, cold-burned plants and storm-season debris cleared, cut back and hauled off so your yard starts each season in good shape.

  • Landscaper kneeling to lay a strip of fresh sod over prepared soil in a front yard, with stacked sod rolls and a single-story home behind

    Sod Installation

We strip the tired lawn, prepare and grade the soil, and lay grass matched to your yard's sun, shade and water.

  • Landscaper with a shovel working a front-yard bed edged with curved pavers, with a pallet of pavers, a wheelbarrow, potted plants and bags of rock staged nearby

    Hardscape Installation

Paver patios, walkways, edging and low garden walls set on a compacted base and sloped to drain, with lighter materials that stay cooler underfoot.

  • Worker in a gray shirt cutting a large oak limb with a chainsaw beside a tan stucco house, with a ladder against the wall and palms and lawn behind

    Tree Trimming and Removal

Careful pruning that keeps healthy shade trees strong and off your roof, plus safe sectional removal when a tree has to go.

  • Worker in a cap uses a pole pruner to trim fronds from a sabal palm beside a stucco house, with cut fronds on the lawn, a ladder, shovel, rake and yard waste bag nearby

    Palm Tree Pruning and Removal

We trim dead fronds, seed pods and fruit without over-cutting, and take down sick or unsafe palms in controlled sections.

  • Worker in gray shirt and jeans running a yellow stump grinder on a tree stump in a backyard lawn, wood chips flying, hedge and screened pool enclosure behind

    Stump Grinding

We grind old stumps and surface roots below grade, then haul off or reuse the chips so the spot is ready for grass, a bed or a new shade tree.

  • Worker in dark shirt and jeans digging out a bamboo clump beside a stucco house wall, with cut canes piled on the lawn, a trash bin and a shovel nearby

    Bamboo Removal

We clear running and clumping bamboo, dig out the underground rhizomes and can install a root barrier so new shoots stop showing up across your yard.

  • Landscaping crew cleaning a yard beside a stucco house: one worker with a backpack leaf blower, one trimming shrubs with loppers, another raking near a paper yard waste bag

    Property Cleanup

We clear overgrown yards, tangled beds, vines and piles of debris, haul it all away and leave your property ready for regular care.

About Landscaping Ocoee

We started this company to do outdoor work the way we would want it done at our own house. That means showing up when we say we will, explaining what we are doing and leaving the yard cleaner than we found it.

A lot of our work comes down to the long, hot Central Florida summer. Shade, smart watering and healthy turf make a real difference in how your home feels from May through October, and that thinking shapes the plans we put together. Some homeowners call us for one stump or a single cleanup; others have us handle the lawn every week and plan bigger changes over time. Either way, you get the same careful crew.

How a Job Runs From First Call to Cleanup

Most projects follow the same simple path. You will always know what happens next.

  1. 1

    Phone call

Tell us what is bothering you about your yard and what you hope to change. We set a time to come out that works for your schedule.

  2. 2

    On-site walkthrough

We walk the property with you, check sun exposure, drainage, irrigation coverage and the condition of trees and turf. We point out anything that is costing you water or comfort.

  3. 3

    Written estimate

You get a clear, itemized estimate and a plain explanation of the options. Take your time deciding.

  4. 4

    Work day

Our crew arrives on the scheduled day, protects lawn and walkways, and keeps the work area tidy as we go. Larger projects like hardscapes can run several days, and we tell you the expected timeline up front.

  5. 5

    Final look and cleanup

We clean up, haul away debris and walk the finished work with you. If you have irrigation changes, we show you the new settings before we go.

Questions Homeowners Ask Us

Something not covered here? (407) 986-0087

Is the walkthrough and estimate really free?

Yes. We come out, walk your property with you and give you a written estimate at no cost. There is no obligation to move forward, and we will not pressure you on the spot.

Can landscaping actually lower my energy bills?

It can help, depending on your home. Shade trees on the west and south sides cut the direct sun that heats walls and windows, and keeping plants from smothering your AC unit helps it breathe. We will be honest about how much difference a change is likely to make on your property.

How do I know my sprinklers are wasting water?

Common signs are wet sidewalks, soggy spots next to dry brown patches and spray hitting the house or the street. During our walkthrough we can run each zone and show you broken heads, overspray and run times that are too long. Our irrigation page covers repairs and adjustments in more detail.

Can I pay for a bigger project over time?

Yes. You can finance amounts as large as $100,000, and repayment can be spread across anywhere from 2 to 12 years. Paying it off early never costs you a penalty. Homeowners often use it for landscape design and hardscape installation, and we are happy to go over it when we review your estimate together.

Will you damage my lawn during a tree removal or hardscape job?

We take steps to prevent it. We lay protective boards where equipment travels, plan the drop zone for trees carefully and clean up thoroughly. If any turf does get disturbed, we tell you and talk through repairing it.

What is the best time of year to put in new sod or plants?

Warm-season grasses like St. Augustine root best in late spring and early summer, when regular rain helps them establish. Many shrubs and trees do well when planted in the cooler months, since they face less heat stress. We will suggest timing that gives your new plants the best start.

Do I need to be home while you work?

Not always. For routine lawn care and many cleanups, gate access is enough. For bigger projects, we ask to meet at the start and at the final walkthrough so you can see the finished work.

What Shapes the Cost of a Landscaping Project

Every yard is different, so we price from what we see on your property. These are the things that move the number most. Knowing them ahead of time helps you decide where to spend and where to hold off.

Your estimate is free and comes after we walk the property with you, so the price is based on your actual yard. Nothing is added later without your say.

Size of the area
Square footage drives how much sod, mulch, stone or plant material a job needs, and how many crew hours it takes. A front-yard bed refresh and a full backyard redo are very different jobs.
Access to the work
A wide gate and an open side yard let us bring in equipment. Tight fences, steep grades or a backyard reachable only by wheelbarrow add labor time, especially for tree removal and stump grinding.
Materials you choose
Pavers cost more to install than gravel, and mature plants cost more than younger ones that need a season or two to grow out. We can show you options at a few levels so the plan fits your budget.
What is underneath
Old roots, buried debris, poor drainage or a failing irrigation line can change the scope. Our sandy soil drains fast, which sometimes means amending beds before planting so new plants hold moisture.
Removal and haul-away
Taking out old sod, overgrown shrubs, bamboo or a large tree creates debris that has to be hauled and disposed of. Bamboo in particular needs its root mass dug out, which takes more time than cutting canes.
